Blessed are those who can break out of the cookie cutter culture where the highest aspiration is to perfectly fit into the mold by keeping to the 5 step program to a healthier and more attractive you, the 7 step plan to a successful career, the thirty day challenge to the ultimate marriage relationship, the forty day mediation to a purposeful life, for they have the opportunity to find and form their own way and journey through life, their career (if they want one) and their relationships and be who they want to be.
Blessed are those who renounce conformity in order to embrace their individuality and uniqueness for they can break out of the mold set by social convention and tradition to the freedom of being truly themselves.
Blessed are those who are willing to go down the road less traveled and do not fear solitude and a solo journey for they will see and experience things that few others will.
Blessed are those who are willing to think for themselves for they will set trends and not follow them.
Blessed are those who open up the way to new possibilities and horizons through critical thinking and the asking of uncomfortable questions for they can follow their own heart and mind and pursue their own peculiar life journey and thereby open up the way for others to follow.
Blessed are those who are willing to define themselves outside of gender, race and culture for they will come to know and appreciate themselves and others in a deeper way.
Blessed are those who are willing to forgo the approval and acceptance of others for they will be able to accept and approve of themselves and thereby others.
Blessed are those who know that one size does not fit all for they will keep on looking for their perfect fit until they find it and grant others the privilege to do the same.
Blessed are those who have embraced their own individuality and uniqueness for they can live a life of celebration of the wonder and the privilege of diversity.
Blessed are those who do not want what everybody else wants for they can be content with what they have and are without jealousy and envy clouding their perceptions, opinions or relationships.
Blessed are those who are brave enough to live a counter-cultural lifestyle without the need to make an exhibition of it for they can grant others the same privilege.
Blessed are those who are courageous enough to pursue their dream and passion, for they can live a lifestyle that supports their dream and allow their passion to flourish and thrive.
Blessed are those who make the choice to listen to their own heart over the clamor and the call of culture and tradition.
Blessed are these ordinary people of conviction.
